Road to my dream ombre purple hair ~ ❤

Hey loves!
Sharing with you my journey on how I achieved my dream hair color.

Here is the inspiration behind it:

I always dye my hair light brown but I always wanted to have an ombré purple hair simply because it's my favorite color.

Here was how my brown hair looked like:

I got bored because it's always the same and I was so afraid to bleach my hair because I don't want to cut my hair short after it gets really damaged.

After some time, I had this realization where I said that I will be brave and go for it even if it means damaging my hair. At least when I look back, I could say that I did it once and conquered my fears.

While I've been surveying with my friends for salon recommendations I happened to find this product online and it's very cheap. It also has no bleach so I decided to give it a try so that I can somehow see how my hair would look like with purple hair.

Here is how it looks like indoors:

and outdoors:

Unfortunately, since my hair was not bleached, it didn't look purple at all. It became burgundy-ish which I'm not really a fan of. Also, it is semi-permanent and it lasted about only 2 weeks but hey, I had no regrets since it didn't damage my hair plus it's very cheap.

Finally, a close friend of mine recommended a salon to me. I browsed their page on social media and they have a lot of very good reviews so I decided to set up an appointment with them.

On the appointment day, I was very excited. It took me 6 hours to finish the whole process.

Sadly, it didn't turn out to be how I wanted. I think it was because there were a lot of customers that day and the hair stylist was not able to give his full attention to me.
It became a bright burgundy color which again, I'm not a fan of.

As you can see, the result was not even close to the inspiration.
I went home disappointed and very unsatisfied. Because of that, I posted a 2-star review on their page. I did this so that they would know where they needed some improvement and that not all of their customers go out happy.

So while I was just trying to make myself happy with my new hair color, I got a private message from the salon's admin. They offered to set up a new appointment to fix my hair color without additional pay. I was hesitant at first because I don't want to go on the same process and end up getting disappointed again.

After thinking about it carefully, I decided to give them a chance. I thought that if they wanted to redeem their salon's reputation, they'd do anything to get it right this time.

After a week, I went back to their salon and this time, it was their head-stylist who accommodated me. I really had high hopes this time because I believe she's the best they have there.

After a gruelling 7-hour process, I could say that I was finally able to achieve the ombré purple hair I've always wanted.

I am very happy with the result and I'm definitely going to recommend this salon to all my friends!

Oh by the way, I changed my rating on their page from 2 stars to 5 stars.
Happy and satisfied customer here!

Happy ending! ❤

Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post btw, I just simply did an honest review of my hair coloring experience.
